My name is Victoria Kehoe. I am a freshman at UNE and a HWOS major. I am an only child and from Hingham, Mass. When I am not living on campus, I live with my parents. I have struggled with a hip condition for the last eight years which has created challenges in my life.  My hip condition is something I used to be ashamed of and something I hid from the world, now I am not afraid of it because in all honesty my hips have made me who I am. My hips lead me to choose the friends I have, brought my family together, and have helped me dream of a bigger and brighter future. While studying at the University of New England, I hope to further my education so I can work towards my dream of becoming a physical therapist.  I have also been interested in learning. I enjoy learning about history and art. I like learning things I have never heard of before and I like experiencing new things. I feel as though I have an open mind when it comes to learning and I look forward to learning and experiencing new things in college. I do not consider myself an amazing writer or a creative writer. I have never kept a diary or journal, I struggle when given freedom to write about any topic. When I write I like to follow a specific layout and draft my work in one way. In this class I am excited to look at new ways to approach writing to become a better and well rounded writer.
